Division 1 & Division 2  

Southbridge Rugby Club welcomes interest from all players wishing to play for our club or looking for a club to play for in the Canterbury region, If this is the case why not come and play for a club with the history ours has in the Ellesmere competition and the Home Club of Former All Black Daniel Carter, we welcome any inquiries for those of you who wish to look at playing in the great environment that Southbridge offers.

The Southbridge Division 1 Side is the current Coleman Shield Winning Side and only lost 2 games during the 2019 season. The Division 1 side also won the Coleman Shield in 2016 & 2017 and the Canterbury Country Wide Competition in 2012, 2013 & 2017.

We have a strong Div 2 side as well but we are always on the lookout for more players to add depth to our c senior sides. Our Division 2 side won the competition in 2016 and have made the top 4 many times.

The coaching and management staff we have at Southbridge for 2020 our exceptional and we have the ability to have position-specific coaches to come and help out regularly, so come and join a successful club and a club with the history that ours has to offer and most importantly a Family Club
