What Grade do I play in 2025? 

Colts (Under 21): Born in 2004, 2005 or 2006 

Ellesmere U18 (All year 12 & 13s)

Ellesmere Intermediate Boys - Year 10s born April 2010 - Sept 2010 and all Year 11s 

Ellesmere Junior Boys - All Year 9s, & Year 10s Born October 2010 - March 2011

Non-competition grades are based on a child's school year and may differ slightly to the guide below. Generally:

• Year 8: Born in late 2012 to early 2013

• Year 7: Born in late 2013 to early 2014

• Year 6: Born in late 2014 to early 2015

• Year 5: Born in late 2015 to early 2016

• Year 4: Born in late 2016 to early 2017

• Year 3: Born in late 2017 to early 2018

• Year 2: Born in late 2018 to early 2019

• Year 0-1 Born in late 2019 or 2020 (Preferably school age)

Dispensations will be considered upon enquiry and will be granted at the discretion of the Club and Ellesmere Rugby Sub Union.
